NEW ZEALAND PILS (4.8% ABV) - 355mL Can

Next up in our pils series, we take a trip to Oceania, where breweries in New Zealand have carved out their own niche in the lager world with their incredible local hop varieties.

New Zealand hops are on top of the IPA world right now, highly sought after for there unmistakable and pungent notes of tropical fruit, citrus and white grapes/fruits. And while it's easy to see how these fit in with modern hazy IPA's, when used with restraint in a lager they can create some of the most distinctive, and unique lager profiles.

For our take on this emerging lager style, we went with a classic and exclusively used hand selected Nelson Sauvin hops from @nzhopsltd. Mōhani has bright aromas of gooseberry and white wine, with complimentary notes of tropical fruit and lime. This hop forward and aromatic pils is light bodied, dry and crisp with a refreshing, lightly bitter finish.

FARMHOUSE LAGER (6.6% abv) - 355ml can

Farmhouse beer styles can be linked to beer’s humble beginnings, brewed widely across Europe for special occasions, or simply everyday refreshment. Process and ingredients vary greatly, each recipe passed down like a family heirloom.

Nōka was built upon a foundation of pilsner, wheat and spelt malt, and finished with Saaz hops. It was then transferred to barrels, where it remained for months and was given new life with Brettanomyces. Finally, Nōka was patiently can-conditioned to give it the lift that only natural carbonation can provide.

CZECH LIGHT LAGER (3.9% ABV) - 355mL Can

As the days get hotter and the evenings grow longer, we often find ourselves reaching for another glass. 10° lagers are the most widely consumed beers in the Czech Republic. Brewed to a lower strength, but without compromise.

Desítka 10° uses floor malted czech pilsner malt, 100% whole cone saaz hops, decoction mashing, natural carbonation and a long cold maturation period. Low in alcohol, but full in flavour.
